A few days ago, I read about a grandfather with his grandson sharing
their time together. The elder man suggested to share his photos when he was a
boy with his grandson and the boy was extremely excited. He wanted to show him
his photos when he was at his age. One photo presented him playing football
which he can’t do now. Another one presented him running fast which he can’t do
now either. After that, they decided to play piano together. While
they were playing piano a question popped up. The little boy asked: “Were you
able to play piano when you were young, grandpa?”. He answered: “No”.
At this point I noticed something
really important. No one knows everything. No one has all the skills
and abilities all the time. And even your current qualifications won't last
forever.
The bright side of this idea is
that the abilities we have are suitable for us now. Not for yesterday or tomorrow.
In the same way, the abilities we had when we were five are suitable for that
age.
But we also have to realize another important idea. It’s trying to keep good intentions and thoughts
about everything. Not to allow bad people and actions to change our behavior.
In our journey in this earth we acquest new things every day and lose others. We get what we need and leave what we
don’t. Everyday is remarkable for our brains, bodies and souls.
